Certain Haiti Relief Workers Qualify for Combat Zone Extension

North Carolina will follow federal provisions allowing members of the military and certain civilians providing earthquake relief in Haiti the same extensions that are available to military and support personnel serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other combat zone localities.

If you are covered by these relief provisions, please write in black at the top right of your State return the designation “Haiti Relief”. You must include a statement with the return when it is filed indicating the dates you provided earthquake relief in Haiti.
