If you haven’t filed your state income taxes yet, the North Carolina Department of Revenue is making it easier for you to complete your Individual Income Tax Return (Form D-400) with an online tutorial that walks you through the process step-by-step.
The self-paced program allows North Carolina taxpayers to understand who is required to file a state return, how to obtain the necessary forms and identify the information needed in order to complete their returns.
The tutorial is meant to provide general guidance only. It includes information on certain tax credits and deductions.
