NCDOR Experiences Technical Difficulties With Certain Web Applications
From approximately 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 17th through Friday, June 19th the North Carolina Department of Revenue (NCDOR) experienced technical difficulties with certain web applications. As a result, warehoused (post dated) electronic payments submitted by taxpayers during this window may have been processed prior to the scheduled date.
For taxpayers who submitted and/or canceled warehoused electronic payments during this time frame and have questions, we request you contact NCDOR to discuss this matter in further detail. Please be advised that affected taxpayers will not be subject to any penalties as a result of this situation.
To facilitate payment assistance, NCDOR has established a special help telephone number which can be reached at 1-877-252-4487.
For general tax inquiries not related to this topic, please contact NCDOR at 1-877-252-3052.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
