Checking the Status of Your Refund
If you file your return electronically, your refund will normally
be processed within 4 weeks from the date the Department
receives your return. Additional processing time is required if you
owe a State or local government agency or the Internal Revenue Service.
You can check the status of your refund online or by telephone
as follows:
If you filed your return electronically and have not received
your refund after 4 weeks, you may check the status of your refund
online at the Where’s
My Refund? link. When you inquire about your refund online,
you will be asked to enter the first social security number as
shown on your return and the exact amount of refund as shown on
your return.
This refund information is available online 24 hours per day,
7 days per week. We update refund information by 6 p.m.
daily.
If you filed your return electronically and have not received
your refund after 4 weeks, you may call our automated refund inquiry
line toll free at 1-877-252-4052.
You will be asked to enter the first social security number as
shown on your return and the exact amount of refund as shown on
your return.
This refund information is available by telephone 24 hours per
day, 7 days per week. We update refund information by
6 p.m. daily. Please wait 24 hours before calling again.
