E-file and Development Unit

The E-file and Development Unit will assist tax professionals who have questions concerning participation in the e-file program or who are experiencing problems transmitting electronically filed returns.  The operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm except holidays.  We can be reached toll-free at 1-877-308-9103, select E-Services and listen for the option, “For Developers and Tax Practitioners Needing Assistance with Forms and Software Development”.  Or you may contact us directly at (919) 733-1674.  The above numbers should not be provided to taxpayers.  The number for taxpayer inquiry of the North Carolina refund is 1-877-252-4052.
