Dear Colleagues and Friends:

We look forward to welcoming you to North Carolina. We hope you are planning to attend the Federation of Tax Administrators 2007 Southern Region Fuel Tax Conference so we can greet you personally.

This meeting brings together state and federal government representatives as well as industry leaders.  It offers an opportunity to learn new ideas and exchange information on a variety of motor fuel tax issues.

While in North Carolina, hopefully you can take the time to enjoy our state’s unique beauty and rich cultural heritage. The Cape Fear Coast offers history, sports, island beaches, and natural beauty.  Experience and enjoy the ocean’s edge at Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, or Wrightsville Beach.  For a change of scenery, travel a few hours to Western North Carolina to experience our stunning mountains.  In between, you will find a vast array of family-oriented destinations throughout our heartland region – from museums and shopping centers to golf courses and historic sites.  North Carolina has a lot to offer.
