DOR’s Durham Service Center Moves To New Site On Westgate Drive

Taxpayers Will Have Easier Access

The N.C. Department of Revenue’s taxpayer service center in Durham will move to a new location at 3518 Westgate Drive, Suite 110 later this month. The old center will be closed for the move from March 11-13 and the new center will open to the public Monday, March 16.

The new center location is in the SouthPark building at the corner of Westgate Drive and University Drive. It has ample parking and more office space for department representatives to meet with taxpayers.

Taxpayers will be able to visit the new service center to file and pay various types of business taxes, to get the forms and other information they need to start a new business, to get help with individual income tax issues and in response to letters and notices from the department. The Durham service center is one of 12 across the state where taxpayers get help from the department. The others are in Asheville, Charlotte, Elizabeth City, Fayetteville, Greensboro, Greenville, Hickory, Raleigh, Rocky Mount, Wilmington and Winston-Salem.
